For Happy Helper it is important that our Helpers know and comply with the tax rules in Denmark. Consequently, Happy Helper collaborates with the Danish Tax Agency (SKAT), so that we can help our Helpers pay the tax they are liable to pay. Neither more nor less.
Also, please note that The Danish Tax Agency performs random audits of providers of cleaning services.
You can easily declare how much you expect your income to be from cleaning services in field 210 of your preliminary income assessment (forskudsopgørelse).
When earning income from cleaning services through Happy Helper, you should also know your possibilities for deducting your expenses so that you avoid losing money. Write your expected expenses in field 425 of your preliminary income assessment (forskudsopgørelse)
Remember that you must register for VAT if you either have or expect to have an income of more than DKK 50,000 within a period of 12 months.
You can get more help on how to declare your income at skat.dk/opgaver-for-andre
