When Happy Helper Support post a booking on the internal network for bookings, it is not necessarily the first Helper who comments, who will receive the booking.
In many cases Support has received specific instructions from the customer. Support will therefore look at the potential Helpers profiles and choose the Helper whose profile is the best match.
Some bookings might seem more attractive in distance, payout etc. than the bookings you have already accepted. We ask you to be loyal to the customers you already have committed to (accepted). Like you, the customer are excited to meet you and plan their day around your arrival. It is therefore extremely disappointing for both us and the customer to receive a cancellation with short notice.
On some bookings Support add "please look up address and transport". It is very important that one do look up the address and transport before commenting on the booking. We add this because the booking will most likely be in an area, which is far from the major cities and is difficult to get to with public transportation.
Support is more likely to give the booking to a Helper who has looked up the address and transport and know they can take the booking for a longer period of time. It should not be on the way to the first cleaning that you realize the distance is too far to continue with the customer.
